The Great Ideas program was formed in 2011 as a bonus incentive to employees whose ingenuity results into an annual minimum of $1,000 or more in savings for Dakkota.
HOW IT WORKS
Team employees submit Great Ideas, which undergo a committee review process. Together, the team ensures the implementation of the idea and sees it through to completion. Awarded ideas are marketed company-wide to promote engagement, idea sharing, and further improvement.
GIVING BACK TO CHARITIES
In addition to financial awards to team members, 25 percent of the savings created by the team is matched by the company and donated to a charity of the team’s choosing.
Reward program for group and individual ideas promotes process improvement in all areas of the organization.
