Mike Hostnik is director of operations for Dakkota Integrated Systems, which he joined in 2013 to lead five Dakkota facilities with diverse products and customers. At these five sites, Hostnik oversees operational and financial performance and supports all launch planning and execution.
Hostnik, whose diverse background in manufacturing includes powder metal, forging, stamping, welded full-frame assembly, and multiple interior and exterior module assemblies, started his 40-year career at what is now Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Later, he moved on to tier-one suppliers such as Borg Warner, Arvin Meritor and Mitsubishi.
The Detroit native’s design and engineering education, plus 20 years in operations, strengthened by an MBA, helped him build a solid reputation for waste elimination and financial success for the organizations that he supports.
