Darcyne Foldenauer

Foldenauer, a 30-year manufacturing veteran in the automotive, aerospace, and defense sectors, is Director of Quality and Business Systems where she serves as the appointed management representative responsible for overseeing all facets of quality for the organization, including strategy, business systems development and improvement, advanced and new model launch quality, current production quality, customer satisfaction, all customer required certifications, and supplier quality management. She also leads the organization in management and review of performance metrics for Dakkota.

Prior to her current role, Foldenauer spent over 6 years as Director of Program Management at Dakkota where she oversaw strategy, standardization, and enhanced financial accountability for Dakkota, ensuring a positive customer experience and helping to improve profitability. She also served as a leader in the companywide effort to educate all team members on accountability. Before joining Dakkota in 2012, she held program management and quality roles at several tier-one suppliers, including ACSYS Technologies, Demmer Corporation, Intier Automotive, May & Scofield, Peregrine and Plastic Omnium. Earlier in her career, she worked as a supplier quality engineer at General Motors.

Foldenauer is a member of the American Society of Quality, holds industry-recognized quality certifications, including CQT, CQE and CMQ/OE, and is certified in lean manufacturing from the University of Michigan. She also is the proud recipient of the Customer-Driven Quality Award from Ford Motor Company. She holds an associate degree in applied science and quality control from Lansing Community College, a business administration bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in quality management from Cleary College, and is currently working on her master’s in finance degree from Concordia University Wisconsin.

She enjoys mentoring young women in business, engaged couples, and offering horse and rider training to equestrian enthusiasts.
